_2- <br />Mayor Swanson t hen brought before Council a proposed plat for <br />land satuated in the Ridgbury Boulevard-Lander Road Area. This proposed <br />plat contained a road which would run para11e1 witih the proposed road <br />of an accepted plat upon which road several houses had been orected. The <br />Road as definod on this proposed plat would brxng tho front area of the <br />existing houses facing the back yard of any building upon this road. <br />Property ovvners of this area tivere present and asked to give their opinion <br />of this road as 14. exxstod upon the proposed plat. Swanson reported that TJrs Strumbley, a coiztractor, had <br />bought two lots on Wilson rdills Road East of SOM Center end had taken <br />a-way cons:i_derable top soxl f'rom these lots and 5.n doing so had colla.psed <br />the culvert conuecting these 1ots witki Wilson 14i11s Road and h.ad blocked <br />the x°oad ditch. The removal of this top soil has caused a lrnv section <br />into which zvater has settled and the neighbors of this area ax°e afraid <br />that th.zs wi11 cause a breeding place for mosquxtose A,fter much <br />discussion it was decided that the Solicitor 3.nvestigate the validity of <br />an ordinance to prevent removal of top soil. <br />T?,fia.yor Stivanson -bhen discussed zhra.th Council the problem of ,uext <br />wS.nter's snoyJ removal and reported that Cu;lahoga County had prok1ibx-Eed <br />the f eeding of garbage to Hogs in the county, ^1 he old sub ject of the <br />extreme need of a truct for the vxllage vTas again brought up by th5.s <br />discussion. Council finally decided to come to the ToiWn Hal1 on 'bla,y 28th <br />for a connna.ttee meeting to consider the subject. <br />Mayor Swanson reported t:nat our Pola.ce Cha.ef, Nr. Goetz, had <br />asked for new tires for the polxce car.
