Q® Audience: From what area is the .effluent to be drawn? <br />A. P,~. Puzenski: Lander Road easterly to the proposed pumping <br />Station is to b e the area served by this <br />proposed pumping station. <br />Q. Mr. Taylor: Why did the county pick this space instead of <br />choosing that area.on the end of Beech Hi11. <br />Road which is alreaay owned by the county? <br />A. Mr. Woodruff: The variations in elevation prevent using the <br />urea on Beach Hill Road. <br />Mr. Woodruff then showed Council a relief map of the Village of Mayfield <br />and the area to be served by the proposed purr~ning station which illus- <br />trated the impracticality of placing the proposed pumping station on <br />Beach Hill Road® <br />Q. Mr. Sv~anson: Will this plan' part of which is the erection of <br />the proposed pumping station, eliminate the <br />present Bonnievievu plant? <br />A. Mr. Fuzenski: This plan will eliminate-the present Bonnieviewr <br />plant. <br />Q...Mr. Whiting: Will the effectuation of this plan eliminate <br />setiver rentals in Mayfield Village? . <br />A® Mr.~ Puzenski: Not necessarily. - <br />Q. Mr. Oatess: Will there be any possibility of jamming of the <br />equipment which v~uld result in an overflow of <br />the effluent? <br />A® Mr. Woodruff: There is to"b.e three sets of pumps which are to <br />be used to insure against any possibility of _. <br />jamming which would result in an overflow of the <br />effluent. , <br />Mr. Oatess thereupon presented objections to any possibility of overflow <br />of the effluent, <br />Mr. Woodruff assured Council that this would not occur due to the special <br />pumps and relay's to b e installed. <br />Q. Audience: Are the present sewage lines to be used or do <br />you contemplate the installation of new sewage <br />lines? <br />A® Mr.Pu.zenski: New sewage lines will be installed. <br />Q.•Audience: How far from the road is the pumping station to be? <br />A. Mr. Woodruff: The proposed pumping station on Wilson ~i.lls Road <br />is to b e approximately 160 feet from Wilson <br />Mills Road. ` <br />Q. Audience: Is this a step toward the alleviation of the <br />sewage problem in hayfield Village or is it a <br />final solution. <br />A. Mr® Puzenski: When the. trunk line is. installed along Wilson <br />Mi11s Road it will be ample to care for the <br />future development of the entire area. <br />2. <br />
