<br />Mr. Swanson stated that the proposal seems fair, but there remains <br />the question whether the owners would be willing to pay for it® <br />Mr. Rogers, Treasurer of-Mayfield Village, and Resident of <br />Ridgebury Boulevard; stated that the 2~~ water main which presently serves <br />twelve (12) homes on Ridgebury Boulevard within the limits of the Village <br />of Mayfield and which is derived from the Mayfield Heights tiVater Mains <br />has recently been inspected by a plumber who certified that the 2« <br />main is in fine condition. Mr. Rogers also stated that all but 150 <br />feet of the 1570 feet have an adequate water supply at the present time. <br />Mr. Demore stated that Ridgebury Boulevard is the dividing line <br />between two water main systems, and that Mayfield Heights residents on <br />the South side of Ridgebury Boulevard do nor have vrater from the .Mayfield <br />Heights Mains in this section, being connected to the Lander Road and <br />Washington Boulevard mains. Also, if the City of Mayfield Heights <br />proceeded to put in a main of its oven on the south side of Ridgebury <br />Boulevard, the Cleveland Water'Department would not approve connections <br />over to the North side'of Ridgebury. - <br />Mr. Why-ting aslced when the Commission would be ready to present <br />a report. <br />~. Swanson stated that they did not have all the facts at the <br />present time„ and would present the report to the Council at a later <br />date. <br />Mayor Hodgson suggested that Mayfield Village faces the po~si-, <br />bility of constructing a separate water main along ftidgebury Boulevard <br />from Lander Road and that it would probably be more economical to <br />cooperate wit;h the City of .Mayfield Heights in the Construction of any . <br />vrater main along Ridgebury Boulevard® <br />Mr. Swanson suggested that a petition be-circulated among the <br />Mayfield Village residents on Ridge'oury'Boulevard to determine whether <br />or not they would be willing to bear the burden of this improvement. <br />Mr. 1Nhiting voiced an objection to the consideration of such <br />improvement unless the residents did approve the project. <br />Mr. Swanson stated that Mayfield Heights will put in their o1m <br />water main on the south side of Ridgebury Boulevard without regard to <br />the approval of the Village of Mayfield, and suggested a Planning and <br />Zoning Commission meeting to give further consideration to the problem. <br />Mayor Hodgson suggested Tuesday, February 23, 195J~ at"8000 P. M. <br />for a meeting of the Planning and Zoning Commission in the Village Hall, <br />and that Mr. Beard and Sir. Rogers notify the residents of Ridgebury <br />Boulevard of the meeting, and that Mr. De~nore of the Pease Engineering <br />Company attend. <br />Mr. Swanson, Chairman of the Planning and Zoning Commission, then <br />reported on the proposed development of Ridgebury Boulevard, and the <br />undeveloped area between Ridgebury Boulevard and Wilson ~~Lills Road by <br />the Associated Land & Investment Company, represented by the H.
