Commission. Mr. Miller showed Council a rendering of the Development.
There is to be a road running north from Ridgebury Boulevard toward, but
not connecting with VJ'ilson Mills Road to a point west of the junction of
Miner Road and Wilson Mills Road, and east of the Junction of Vlilson Mills
and Lander Road. There are to be approximately fifty five (55) homes
built in the Development on lots of seventy five (75) and eighty (80) feet
of frontage. Provision has been made for drainage of the area utilizing
a natural drainage area in the center of the Development, and a natural
drainage ditch on the north end of the Development, vahich ditch continues
through the property of Mr. Dawson on Wilson Mills Road®
Mr. Edelman, Solicitor, stated that Ordinance No. 408 provides
that .a single dwelling house may be erected on any lot shown on any
allotment plat vahich has been submitted to Council prior to the date of
the Ordinance, which is September 15, 1952, if such lot contains an area
of not less than 15,000 square feet and has a frontage of not less than
75 feet; otherv~ise a frontage of not less than 100 feet and an area of
not less than 20,000 square feet is required, the issue thus being whether
or not the plat in this case was submitted to Council on or before the
target date even though the Planning and Zoning Commission approved the
plat on TJlay 15, 1950.
Mr. Oatess presented the question of the sanitary problem
which would be .engendered by such Development, since there is no provision
for a sanitary sewer in the Development which has been proposed, such a
large concentration of septic tanks being of questionable advisability.
Mr. H. G. rJti.ll.er stated that the proposed storm sewer cannot
be converted to a sanitary sewer in any event.
The proposed changes by the Planning and Zoning Commission
a.s to the proposed Development were concerned with changes in the placement
of rpadways so as to be in harmony with the over-all master plan of the
community.
Mr. ~~.ller stated that the Development wa,s to proceed from
Ridgebury Boulevard.
A tentative revised plan tivhich incorporates the changes
proposed by the Planning and Zoning Commission is to be submitted to
the Planning and Zoning Commission at its meeting in the Village,Ha11 on
February 23, 1951, a.t 8:00 P.. M.
X Mayor Hodgson then requested the report of the Trustees of
the Mayfield .Union Cemetery.
