Mr. Edelman stated that, if it were given in the form of additional compensation, the proposed recommendation could be effected by motion in accordance with the Ordinance which establishes the compensation for police officers. It was moved by Mr. Taylor and seconded by Mr. Beard that one half (1~2) of the cost of police uniforms required by the members of the Police Department of the Village of Mayfield be assumed by the Village of Mayfield; such uniforms to b e purchased by the members of the Police Department of the Village of Mayfield; and such cost to•the Village of Mayfield to be additional compensation to the members of the Pola.ce Department of the Village of Mayfield. Motion Carried The Clerk, John Schwemler, filed his bond in the amount of twt~ thousand 02'000.00) dollars with the Treasurer of the Village of Mayfield. fir. Edelman, Solicitor, approved the bond as•to form except that the spelling of the name of the Clerk was incorrect, which correction will be made. Mr. Edelman stated that service had been had on all of the residents of Seneca Road, in Mayfield Village, in the matter of the water main to b e constructed on Seneca.Road. The improvement had been initiated on the request, by petition, of the residents of Seneca Road. Mr. Oatess introduced Ordinance l~TO.1~60 entitled: ~~An Emergency Ordinance to Proceed with the Ir~provement~ of Seneca-~Road..in~:the•_~VLlage'of Mayfield, Ohio, from SOM Center Road in an Easterly Direction to the Westerly Line of Beech Hill Road by the Construction of a Water Maine, which Ordinance was read to Council, - Mr. Taylor moved that the rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended, which motion was seconded by Mr. Endres . Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Endress,Beard,tiVhiting,0atess,Taylor and Swanson. Nays - None. - - Motion Carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Teo Swanson, and seconded by Mr. Oates, that the Ordinance No. i~60 be passed as read.
