Motion Carried <br />The Clerk read a letter from_the Aldridge Insurance Service, Inc. <br />stating that the non®ownershi.p liability.insurance policy. of the Village would <br />expire April 12, 195l~, and that,the renewal premium for .this insurance would <br />be twelve dollars and fifty cents ( w12.50.). The policy covers all the legal <br />liability for, ar;y_ employee, .or village~~official for arty legal liability which <br />might be incurred, through operating any automobiles not owned by the Vi1.7.a,ge <br />of Mayfield, but, used in its interest. ~ ~ . <br />_. a ; <br />It was moved by Mr. Taylor and seconded by Mr. Beard that this <br />insurance . be renewed ,and that the Clerk:~ be< authorized to effectuate such <br />renewal.- <br />, _ ~ ~ <br />Ro1.1. Messrs .Taylor,Whiting,0atess & Beard. <br />Motion Not Carried <br />Rules Not Suspended, <br />Mr. Endress stated that ;prior practices of the Village of Mayfield <br />had been to approve such plats as that of the Associated Land and Development <br />Company for record only, and that this was his ground for the action he had <br />taken. <br />presented. <br />Mr. ?n[hiting repeated his objections to accepting the plat as <br />Mayor Hodgson stated that it seems the whole difficulty arises <br />in the ambiguity of the present Zoning Ordinance, and that a new Platting <br />Ordinance is being prepared. <br />Mr. Endress, stated that .his: only objection to disapproval of <br />this plat for record only was that everyone should be given equal treatment. <br />~gayor Hodgson :suggested that the Planning and Zoning Commission <br />should meet at his home to consider the revision of the Zoning Ordinance and <br />invited Council, and ~. Edelman, and Mr®. Demore to attend. <br />Mayor Hodgson read a letter from the Board of Elections, notifying <br />the Village of Mayfield of the May ~., 19~1~, primary elections. <br />50 <br />
