Beard, ~Nhiting, Oatess, Endress, Taylor <br />& Swan_ son. <br />Nays - None <br />I~otion Carried <br />Hours Increased <br />Mr. Vilhiting stated that the Safety and Service Committee had <br />considered the purchase of two "25 mph" signs and one "35 mph" sign and <br />one "No Parking" sign for installation in the Village of Mayfield. <br />It was moved by Swanson and seconded by Mr. Endress that the <br />police department be authorized to purchase two "25 mph signs" and one <br />"35 mph sign" and one "No Parking" sign for installation in the Village of <br />Mayfield. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs. Beard, t'Vhiting, Oa.tess; Endress, Taylor <br />& Swanson. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Purchases <br />authorized <br />Mr. Swanson, councilmanic`member of the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, stated that the Commission had considered the matter of the <br />revision of the Ordinance for Regulating the Platting of Land. Mr. Swanson <br />then submitted such proposed new Ordinance for Regulating the Platting of <br />Land which had been considered by the Planning and Zoning Commission. Mr. <br />Swanson stated that the Corrnnission considered this Ordinance to be of suf- <br />ficient merit to be adopted, and that the Commission had had two meetings <br />on the subject of the proposed Ordinance. <br />Mr. Swanson introduced Ordinance Nod t~68 Entitled "An Ordinance <br />Adopting Rules and Regulations Relative to Platting of Land and the " <br />Dedication of New Streets to be Shown on Such Plats." which ordinance was <br />read to Counoil, _ <br />Mayor Hodgson, stated that the main changes in the Ordinance were <br />that the preliminary plans of plats may be furnished to Council in pencil <br />drawings. These,. are to be submitted to the Planning and Zoning Commission, <br />and the Village Engineer, and then to Council. Mayor Hodgson also stated <br />that all plans, after having been put in finished form, are to be submitted <br />to the Planning and Zoning Commission, the Village Engineer, and to Council, <br />and all improvements must be put in before the approval of Council is given <br />or, in the alternative, a bond may be posted for all improvements. Mayor <br />Hodgson stated that no building permits were to be issued under the proposed <br />Ordinance until temporary pavements were installed, and that when a plan is <br />approved it may not be recorded until either the bond is posted or the <br />improvements are installed® <br />1 <br />1 <br />1 <br />
