Special Meeting -5® June 7, 1951 <br />Mr. Demore stated that ingtu.ries had been made as to the removal of <br />excess fill foil over the nev~rly installed water mains v~rithin the Village of <br />1tlayfield. Mr. Demore stated that Council should approve removal of this <br />surplus soil if they wished it to be done at this time. However, the normal <br />procedure was to allow such soil to settle for a year. The contractor is <br />obligated to perform this work as a part of his contract. <br />Mr. Endress suggested dropping the matter at the present time. <br />PQr. Swanson stated that the realty firm attempting to sell the Sperry <br />property on S.O.M. Center Road north of Highland Road had called and had <br />asked if 100 feet of the frontage of the property could be sold for the <br />purpose of placing a.house thereon leaving 86 feet of frontage for the <br />e~.sted dwelling. <br />IV(r. V'Jhiting suggested that application be made to the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission to set off the property in some manner. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, upon motion <br />duly made, seconded and put to vote, the meeting adjourned. <br />~~o, / ~~ ~,~.-..~ ' <br />Ma~ror - President o ' Council' <br />1 <br />
