He reminded Council <br />and those present. that the voters would be asked to..approve a three mill <br />levy for-. operating eacpenses . of -the` Village. , - , „ . <br />Mayor Hodgson read alletter from Albert.S. Porter, the. County'Engineer <br />enclosing a proposed consent ordinance, granting the county the right to clear <br />ice and snow fx°om certain county roads ..within the village, stating also that <br />some roads were not included on ..the list as .of strictly a local nature to be <br />cleared by local. authorities. ° <br />Mr. Endress then introduced Ordinance No. 482 entitled, "An Ordinance <br />.,..:,Giving the Consent of: the Village of .Mayfield. to the Removal of Snow and Ice <br />from Certain .Roads within the Villag®!', which ordinance.: was read to Council. <br />It eras moved by Mr. Taylor, .seconded by Mr. Beard, that the rules ®f <br />].aw requiring.an ordinance to be ,read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />3. <br />
