The Club planned on using saw
acres and the barn, leaving 31 acres to be developed. As this development
was completed these people could also use the club. Nor. Negrel7.i was told
that a meeting had been called for November 29th at 7:00 P. M, and stated
that this would be•impossible. He said that i1e had been assured by Mr.
T~eisberg that ox~ly council action was necessary and with only a 30 day
option, the work would have to be completed long before a public hearing
could be held, At this time he also asked the clerk for a copy of the
village zoning ordinance, He then agreed to bring his principals to a
pub7ac hearing and agreed upon 7x30 P. M. November 29th.
The Clerk reported to Council that there was insufficient money
in the bond retirement fund to meet current obligations on the Wilson Mills
Bonds. The Clerk suggested and asked Council for a resolution authorizing
the borrowing of ~l~000.00 from the Water r'~a.in Trust Fund at interest until
sufficient bond money was received._ The Clerk also reported that as far as
he was able to ascertain, the Wilson Mills Assessment had never been
certified to the Auditor and no c oll.ections were being made to cover these
obligations.
Mr, Beard introduced Resolution No. 263 entitled, "A Resolution
Authorizing the Clerk to borrow ~i~.,000.00 from the Water Main Trust Fund
at 1% interest." Mr. whiting stated that only an
accountant could understand these figures and that he would not pass
legislation to borroir until he knew more about the matter. The matter was
then tabled until such time as,, T?r. Gordon r'TcKay, the tax consultant hired
by the vi]1age, could be present and•explain-things to council.
Nir. ~aanson then wondered when the villagers were going to get a
water bill from the water department, and asked what could be done about
the matter. Mayor Hodgson said that an inquiry could be made of the Water
Department, but doubted that it •would do a~* good. • He stated that th~.s
situation eras prevalent all over the county.
2.
