Strater suggested that sewer .pipe be obtained and the open ditch on the East side of the Town Hall be closed to erase a health menace, especially to the children of the near-by school. _ Improvements to the basement of the Toz~m Hall vrere also discussed, such as re-tiriring and installing a new ceiling. It was brought out that wp250.00 was available towards this job from some of our organizations. The matter of ~ Storm ~^jindows for the Town Hall and new chairs for the Council Chamber was also discussed. - , It was moved by T`Zr. Strater, seconded by Nlr. Beard, that a water line be installed in the Town Hall and the-cost be taken from the Build~,g and T'~~a.intenance Fund. Roll Call: Ayes - I4lessrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor,ti5~hiting,Beard ~ Oatess. Council then asked Mr. Stra•te_r to try and secure a few samples of chairs suitable for Council, so that a choice might be made. 1~r.
