It was moved by Ilr. Beard, seconded by I'Ir. Taylor, that the rules of <br />law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspended. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Swanson, Strater,Taylor,Beard & Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />r Rules suspended <br />It was moved by I•Zr. Taylor, seconded by ~`Ir. Strater, that Ordinance <br />No. x.96 be approved and passed as read. • <br />Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard & Oatess. <br />Nays -None. <br />Iujotion Carried <br />Ordinance passed <br />Mayor Endress then asked Ifr. Wieland 'to report on his conference <br />witn the Road Foreman of Mayfield Heights. Mr. Wieland said that he had talked <br />with N~ayfield Heights but, inasmuch as the weather would not allow any work <br />at the present. time, no definite plans had been made. It was moved by Mr. <br />Oates, seconded by Mr. Strater, that 1~iayor Endres appoint a Committee <br />of two to meet Frith Mayfield Heights. _ <br />Roll Call: Ayes - I~Iessrs Swanson, Taylor, Strater, Beard & Oatess. <br />Nays - l~Tone . <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Endress then appointed I°Zr. Beard and I`Ir. Rogers, together with <br />Mr. i~lieland, to look into this situation and meet again with I~iayfield heights. <br />P'Ir. Wieland also stated that he was unable at the present time to <br />get anyone to install a water line into the Town Ball, although he had <br />contacted a lot of people. T'Iayor Endress appointed Mr. Strater and Mr. <br />Taylor, to take care of this situation. <br />Mr. Oatess then reported for the Building Committee and had a <br />representative of the Alum Co. show samples of Storm Windows, Screens and <br />Doors which they proposed to install in the Town Hall. They presented bids <br />of $1,150.00 for Storm and Screens for the loUrer hall and X325.00 for the <br />upper trindows over the offices and X150.00 for a front door. It was brought <br />out that :,re could not use the door, because public building doors had to <br />open outwards. A five year guarantee against wear went with these tirindows. <br />1"lr. S~ranson said that he would like' to contact the Grange and see if they <br />tirould contribute anything, as this looked like something they could consider <br />as one of their projects. Mr. Swanson said he would talce this matter up <br />with the Grange. <br />The Basement of the Town Ha11. was next considered, with prices <br />obtained of ~p1~00.00 for wiring and X285.00 for ceiling material. <br />I~Zr. Oatess then presented a fio~ure of X1,050.00 for ceramic file and <br />:835.00 for cement pipe for sealing in the storm sewer at the East end of <br />the Town Hall.. <br />2. <br />
