Mr. Strater then showed pictures of chairs to replace the present ones <br />in the Council Chamber and discussed merits of chairs with and tirithout arms. <br />The prices ranged from ~~13.75 with arms to X9.65 without. It was thought that <br />a chair vrith arms for the T~layor' s corner vrould make the j ob look more attractive . <br />It was moved by Mlr® Strater, seconded by Mr. Beard, that the village <br />purchase nine chairs at 5#~9®65 without arms and one chair with arms at X13.75. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Strater,Taylor,Beard ~ Oa.tess. <br />Nays - None. <br />T'lotion Carried. <br />It was moved by Mr. Beard, seconded by Mr~ Strater, that we purchase <br />sufficient concrete pipe_to seal in the storm sewer at the east end of the <br />Town ua.ll <br />Roll Call: Ayes o 1`'lessrs Swanson,Strater, Taylor,Beard ~ Oatess. <br />_ Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Mr. Swanson then tool{ the floor and read the Minutes of a meeting of <br />the Zoning and Planning Committee. The f ollovring were present at this meeting: <br />Messrs Swanson, Endress, Uhlir, Gagliardo and Reed. <br />Mr. William T. Arnos presented a plan for subdivision of a sectior_ of <br />land off SOM Center Road north of the Fisher Deve~:opment. This was sent back <br />for revisions. The Associated Land ~ Tnvestme~.t.company submitted final drawings <br />of the Garden Drive Developments The-commission unanimously approved these <br />drawings for submission to, Council. <br />The Commission granted to ~Tr. T3ick Cesa on behalf of Richaxd Laconte <br />permission to divide the Laconte property into two equal lots of 91 1~2 ft. <br />frontage after addition of 25 feet by abandonment of Maple Grove Road. <br />By a vote of three to two, the Commission decided to re-submit to <br />Council, the recommendation previously submitted on December 2, 195., in regard <br />to the possible re-zoning of the inTeisberg property through the inclusion of <br />athletic clubs in the U-6 Zoning classification. <br />Council then took up these recommendations in their order. The Associated <br />Land and Development ~o. presented their final plans for the Garden Drive develop- <br />ment. These plans were photographic copies and not signed by our Engineer. Mr. <br />Edelman then quoted various paragraphs from our platting ordinance and said that <br />the Commission should not consider these plans before being signed by our Engineer, <br />as this only took up Council's time and left Council unable to move until all <br />provisions of the ordinance were carried out. Tor. Swanson asked if the Commission <br />should again pass on these plans. Ou.r Engineer stated that he did not think so. <br />At-this point the Clerk asked for a clarification concerning bills he <br />had been receiving from Mr. Gallimore relative to examining plans of these.:. <br />developments. He stated that he did not believe he should be put in the position <br />of engaging in an enterprise vrhich forced him to co1.7~ct money for T~7r. Gallimore. <br />T'lr. Edelman stated that it was clearly set forth in the Orclinance that a deposit <br />should be left with the Clerk which would cover Mr. Ga7limore before any <br />consideration .of the plans eras considered. <br />3• <br />
