Mr. Swanson took up the matter of the Grange helping with the storm <br />windows.. He stated that he had attended the last Grange meeting and had <br />brought up.,the matter at this meeting. The Cmange, he found, were <br />contemplating a three day Home Day this year .around the ~.th of July and, <br />there was a possibility that some of the profits of Home Day could go <br />toward this project. Mr..Swanson stated that he had. been mald.ng contacts <br />regarding the purchase of Storm Windows and•thoughr there was a possibility <br />that we might save the salesmen's commission on this purchase. However, <br />he felt that it would be t~.se to defer this matter until after Home. Day. <br />Mr. Oates then read the Treasurer's Report of the Civic Improve- <br />ment Committee wlu.ch included the ~'~others-.Club, ~ the Grange ~'15l~7, and <br />the Civic Club and Firemen. Oatess then turned over to the Clerk a checl{ for X56.15 and <br />stated that he would like to take the ~i200.00 already available for the <br />ceiling and the~56.15 given to the clerk and get started on the ceiling. <br />Mr. Wie7.and at this point said that something would have to be done as <br />the wiring-was in a precarious state and he was getting complaints about <br />the circuits in the basement. It Trras moved by Mr. 'Whiting, seconded by <br />Mr. Oatess, that the basement be re-sired and the ceiling put in the <br />Town Ha11 Basement.
