Mr. Porter requested that Council approve Mr. James Plastine of 6593 Wilson ~Zil].s Road as a member of the Fire Department. Mayor Endress then appointed Mr. Pla.stine to the Fire Department. It was moved by Mr. Beard, seconded.by,Mr. Strater, that this appointment.be confirmed. Roll Call Ayes - Messrs Swanson,Strater,Taylor,Whiting,Beard & Oatess. . Nays - None. ._ ._ Motion carried Appointment confirmed It was then reported. that the brakes on the Tank truck were bad and a booster should be purchased which would appro~i.mate a cost of X200.00. It was moved by ~~r. Strater, seconded by Mr. Whiting, that a booster be installed and new brakes if necessary at a cost of not over X100.00 without the approval of Mr. Strater.
