introduced Ordinance No. 509, entitled: ~fAn Emergency Ordinance Determining <br />to Proceed with the Improvement of I-~.ghland Road in the Village of Ma.yfi_eld, <br />Ohio, from the Westerly Line of the Village of T~layfi.eld in an Easterly <br />Direction to the Westerly line of SOM Center Road by the construction of a <br />Water Main and Appurtenances therein", which orclinance was read to Council. <br />It eras moved by Mr. Beard, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard & Oatess. <br />Nays -None. . <br />Motion carried <br />- Rules suspended <br />Tt tras moved by T'Tr. S~ranson, seconded by NIr. Strater, 'that Ordinance <br />No. 509 be approved and passed as_read. - <br />•Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs S~Janson,Strater,Taylor,Beard and Oatess. <br />Nays -None. ~ - _ <br />Motion carried <br />Ordinar~e Passed <br />I`2r. Edelman repot°ted that he had received but one bid for the sale <br />of our 4~?~8,650.00 bond issue for water mains on four streets. This bid from <br />Seasongood and ~jayer of Cincinnati, was for 3-1/!~ paying par and giving a <br />prenrium of X38.95. A check of good faith acco~-npanied the bid. Mr. Edelman <br />felt that this tras a very good bid inasmuch as Bedford also advertising and <br />receiving three bids was low at 3®1/li.~. Any local bid at this tame would have <br />been 3-1~2~. ~ - <br />I'~r. Swanson, seconded by Mr. Strater, then introduced resolution <br />No. 286- entitled: "A Resolution Accepting the Highest Bid for ~~.8,650.00 of <br />Special Assessment Bonds upon the lotirest rate of interest bid by a responsible <br />bidder", which resolution was read to Council. <br />- It was moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by r~r. Beard, that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to b e read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Ro11 Call: 'Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard:: Oatess. <br />_ Nays -None. - <br />Motion carried <br />1- RuLs suspended <br />It was moved by NTr. Oates, seconded by ~'Ir. Taylor, that Resolution <br />No. 286 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll. Call: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard ~ Oatess. <br />Nays -None. <br />Motion carried <br />• Resolution passed <br />T'Iayor Endress then asked about the Ordinance -on ice boxes which <br />Mr. Fdelmau was to have ready.
