~Zr. ~ioffman was asked to submit a written request for improverr~nt of the road to ,the Zoning and Planning Committee who would then meet and discuss the matter._ Mr. Hoffman suggested that they look at all five streets in the area involved,. namely: North W®odlarie, Norman, South Woodlane~ Woodlane and Worton Park Drive.. _ Tyr. George Feldner of x.196 West .9th Street, representing the Redifer Bus Line, stated that_he held two options on the Weisberg property and had secured a real estate firm to take over the land portion of the property and improve it, putting 3n a concrete drive to the barn, and asked Council to cal].. a public hearing to re-zone this property for a~bus terminal. l~kr. Ede]man stated that a bus terminal had been put 3n. a' special pei~nvt class, and the matter should go before the. Zoning and Planning Commission who would set a date for a public hearing. ~'lr: Swanson then set July 25, 1955, for- this hearing. ~ . It was moved by I'lr. Swanson, seconded by Tlr. Oatess, that Council have a,special meeting immediately after this hearing to consider the recommendation of the Zon.in~ Committee. Roll Call: Ayes -Messrs Swanson, Taylor' Beard, Oa.tess. °_ Nays - Nkre Strater T°lotion carrri..ed The Clerk then brought out the fact that the Au,cL~.tor had deducted X55.31 from our tax monies which was the entire cost of the Audit of the Union Cemetery. Mr. Taylor at the same time presented the budget of the Cemetery, calling for.~270.80 from each village. After considerable discussion, it was moved by Mr. Strater, seconded by ter. Beard, that we give tl~e Cemetery ~170.y2. and that I`jr. Taylor add the cost of the audit to each ViLage in his request to Highland. Heights and Hayfield Heights. Roll Call: Ayes --I''lessrs Swanson, Strater, Taylor, Beard & Oatess. Nays -None. . ' Motion carried Mr. Russell, the president of the School Board, being present, Council 're-opened their discussion of the Washington Park Extension. Tt was brought out in this discussion that the road itself could ~ black-topped for about ,3500.00 for the 2~ feeta Mr. Russell said there was a possibility of extending the road all the way to Wilson Mi11s and opening the property to.the west of the road for~ovement and suggested some sort of conmiittee to contact the people along Zander Road as to their fee7.ings in the matter. A member of the vliller Realty Co. present at the meeting was then. suggested by the Mayor to do this and consented to make a survey and meet with the school board and zoning conunittee at some future date to consider the matter.
