~!Iayor Swanson read a complaint from David Has sink concern- <br />ing uncovered garbage cans and other unsanitary conditions belv.nd Bordaxa- <br />ero's Grocery Store. <br />1~Ir. Hardman enquired whether anything had been done concerning <br />the complaint presented to Council last month concerning other property <br />of the Village. I~iayor Swanson stated that he understood something was <br />being done about the latter situation and that he intends to call a meeting <br />of the responsible parties at some future timed <br />After some discussion it eras moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded <br />by I.1rs ® Cass, that the Solicitor draft a form of ordinance giving the <br />Villagers officials pourer to take -action in cases involving unsan:i.ta.ry <br />conditions such as those complained of by Mr. Hardman. <br />Roll Call: Ayes- 14lessrs Hardman,Scheuring,CTodfrey,Cass &: Hall. <br />Nays -None, . <br />P.+totion Carried <br />IIIr. H, G® b`Ii11er submitted a plat for the proposed re-sub- <br />division on Ridgebury Boulevard, which mayor Svranson referred, along with <br />an objection thereto by I~r. Hare, to the Planning Commission® <br />Mr. Gadke complained. to Council concerning the, condition <br />of Ridgebury Boulevard® There was some discussion concerning this, but <br />no action was taken. <br />Iviayor Svranson brought up the question of roaming dogs and <br />asked the opinion of Council concerning construction of a cage where dogs <br />could be held. over night. After a. lengthy discussion it eras decided that <br />ro action concerning the construction of kennels would be taken, at least <br />until the next meeting of Council. <br />It eras moved by Mra Hall, seconded by ~Ir, Godfrey, that the <br />Clerk be directed to inform all Villagers concerning the dog ordinance <br />and the fact that it vrill henceforth be enforced, <br />Roll Calls Ayes- IJiessrs Haraman,Scheuring,Godfrey, Cass & Hall. <br />Nays - Nono. . <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance I~To. 344 entitled "An Ordinance to .P.mend Sec. 22 <br />of Ordinance No® 86 entitled rAri Ordinance Creating the Office of Inspector <br />of Buildings, Defining tha Duties and Potivers of Such Inspector, Regulating <br />the_Construction of Buildings within the Village of Mayfield, Repealing <br />Ordinance No. Z0, entitled rAn Ordinance Creating the Office of Inspector <br />of Buildings, Defining the Duties and Prnrrers of Such Inspector, and <br />Regulating the_Construction_of Buildings V'rithin the Village of It2ayfieldr, <br />and Declaring an E_mergvncy" Relating to time limits of Permits" was <br />read_to Council for the second time. It was mot71ed by Mrs® Cass, seconded <br />by Prlr® Scheuring, that the rules of lavr requiring an ordinance to be read <br />on three separate occasions be suspended® <br />2. <br />
