Appoin'l~!ent Confirmed® Mrs Edelman administered the Oath of Off`3.ce to Mro Lepplemeir® Mayor Swab,son brought up the subject of sewer connections and asked Mr, Wieland to survey the houses in the pillage and prior to the next meeting of the Council furnish the Clerk with,a list of houses which are connocted. The subject of water was discussed at some lengtho Mayor ~Savanson pointed out that the city would permit connection to the Mayfield Heights line on SOM Center Road for school purposes oz~ly0 Mr. Danner address®d the meeting and stated that the Regional Planning Board is going to set up an authorii:y for water which will lay out trunk lines to be paid for by the County. Mayor Swanson suggested that a letter be written to residents of the village e:~pla3.ning the situation and asking for their comments before the next meeti~ig of Councilor It eras moved by Mr. Hall and. seconded by Mr. Godfrey that the Mayor appointees committee of three council members to investigate the availabili°~r of water and the sentiment of the Village before the next~mseting. ' Motion Carried Mayor Swanson appointed Mr® Hall as Chairman and Mre Taylor and Mr. Scheuring as members of the~6'~ater Commute®® Mr® Reed asked the Council to consider the establishment of shooting ranges within the V~.11age Iimits® .After some discussion Mr. Soheuring asked the Safety Committee to consider this and report at the next meeting of Council. Mr® Roth complained to Council concerning a business sign on the premises of Mr® Hall and concerning business operations which he stated were being conducted. on the premises of Mr®. Hall in violation of the Village zoning ordinanc®. After soma discussion.-Mro. Hall stated that he vaould remove the sign® Mr. Lierce addressed Council concerning the poor drainage condition exa.sting on V'JhS.te Road® After it eras pointed out that this vacs a County Roade Mayor Swanson said that the Village rovould e~c®rt all influence possible. to get the condition correctedo It was moved by Mr, Godfrey, seconded by Mrs® Cass, that the Clerk be instructed t® notify the Count Commissioners concerning this situation and ask for corrective acta,on.
