1 Minutes of the Regular Meeting May 21, 1951 The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Ha11 in regular Tneeting on the~2lst day of May, 1951, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Gustav Swanson presiding. Roll Call: Present - Messrs Hardman, Scheuira.ng,Taylor,Godfrey, Cass and Ha11 Absent -None. Minutes of the regular meeting held April 16, 1951 were read to the Council. It was moved by Mr. Hall, seconded by Mrs® Cass, that the minutes be approved as read, subject to a change in the statement attr~.buted to Mr. Leppe]meier to the effect that he would b® willing to pay 50 per cent of the labor cost involved in overhauling the defective ts~xck engine pur4 chased from him. Roll Call: Ayes Messrs Hardman,Seheuring,Taylor,Godfrey,Cass & Hall Nays - Noneo . Motion Carsd.ed Minutes Approved Minutes of-the special meeting held April 30, 1951, were read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that the minutes be. approved as read. Roll Ca11: Ayes a Messrs Hardman,Scheuring,Taylor,Godfrey,Cass & Hall Nays a Non®. Motion Carried Minutes Approved Ordinance No. 334aP was read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the ordinance b® passed as read. Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Hardman,Scheuring,Taylor,Godfr©y,Cass 8c Hall Nays - None Motion Carried Ordinance Passed After reviewing the financial condition of the Village and noting the excess of expenditures ovor incom®~ the Finance ~Coinmittae recommended that action be taken to reduce expenses insofar as possible and as consistent with good governmento 1.
