1 <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />May 21, 1951 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met at the Town Ha11 in <br />regular Tneeting on the~2lst day of May, 1951, at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Gustav <br />Swanson presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Hardman, Scheuira.ng,Taylor,Godfrey, <br />Cass and Ha11 <br />Absent -None. <br />Minutes of the regular meeting held April 16, 1951 were read to <br />the Council. It was moved by Mr. Hall, seconded by Mrs® Cass, that the <br />minutes be approved as read, subject to a change in the statement attr~.buted <br />to Mr. Leppe]meier to the effect that he would b® willing to pay 50 per cent <br />of the labor cost involved in overhauling the defective ts~xck engine pur4 <br />chased from him. <br />Roll Call: Ayes Messrs Hardman,Seheuring,Taylor,Godfrey,Cass & Hall <br />Nays - Noneo . <br />Motion Carsd.ed <br />Minutes Approved <br />Minutes of-the special meeting held April 30, 1951, were read to <br />Council. It was moved by Mr. Godfrey, seconded by Mr. Taylor, that the <br />minutes be. approved as read. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes a Messrs Hardman,Scheuring,Taylor,Godfrey,Cass & Hall <br />Nays a Non®. <br />Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Ordinance No. 334aP was read by the Clerk. It was moved by Mr. <br />Godfrey, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the ordinance b® passed as read. <br />Roll Ca11: Ayes - Messrs Hardman,Scheuring,Taylor,Godfr©y,Cass 8c Hall <br />Nays - None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />After reviewing the financial condition of the Village and noting <br />the excess of expenditures ovor incom®~ the Finance ~Coinmittae recommended <br />that action be taken to reduce expenses insofar as possible and as consistent <br />with good governmento <br />1. <br />
