Ordinance No. 3I~6-P was read to Council. <br />It was moved by T,h°. Scheuring, seconded by rflr• Oatess, that the <br />Ordinance be passed as read, <br />Roll Call: .Ayes -Messrs. Sloan, Scheuring, Cass and Oa.tess. <br />Nays - P1one <br />Married Carried. <br />Ordirianc a Passed. <br />Mr. Oatess complimented 114r. George Wieland, the Service Director, <br />for the fine condition of the Village roads• <br />Mayor Swanson reported that it was difficult to obtain a black police <br />car and asked whether any councilmen objected to the purchase of a car of a different <br />color, if necessary. No objections were voiced. <br />A card expressing appreciation for the sympathy extended by Village <br />officials to the fAmily of the late Jay L. Levais, was read. <br />Mrs. Cass spoke of the difficulty in getting a meeting of the trustees <br />of the Mayfield Cemetery. Mrs. Cass was authorized to call a meeting of the trustees <br />at the Mayfield Village Hall and to request the Clerk to write a proper letter to <br />that effect. <br />It was moved by Air.
