1 Mr. Di~:on has asked for a two week vacation in July, and B~. Wieland was appointed to help during those two weeks as a policeman. Mayor Swanson presented a bill of X122.37 for repairs to John De Haanss car, which was damaged by the Fire truck when going to a fire on March 3l, 1952. Mr. Endress introduced Orclinance No. X11 entitled: 'tAn Ordinance to Pay the. Claim of John De Haan~~, which Ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Sloan, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll.
