It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mr. Oatess, that Ordlinance No. t~09 be passed. as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz' Sloan, Endress,Scheuring_,Cass & Oatess. Nays - None. ' Motion Carried - Mr. Sloan introduced Ordinance No. I~10 entitled: tPAn Ordinance to Amend Ordinance No. 86, the Building Code; by Establishing a Minimum Living Area for Dwe]ling Houses"-which ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Ro11 Gall: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan,Endress,Scheuring,Cass& Oatess. Nays - None: Motion Carried Ordinance Passed Mr. Ga1.l.i.more entered the meeting, and advised Council that the Wilson Mills water main should be completed in the. early Fall, Mr. Arnos. introduced Mr. Stevenson, representing Gunnison Prefab Houses9 who spoke briefly concerning the same. ' Mayor Swanson readthe minutes of the Safety and Service Committee meeting. The Committee has recommended the°purchase of an Electric Speed- Control Unit, which has apparently had good reception and results in some of the neighboring communities. It was moved by Mr. Oatess, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the matter be tabled until. the next regular meeting, or until further study has been made. Motion Carried Mayor Swanson appointed a committee of Mr. Sloan and Mrs. Endress to f urther investigate the possibilities of the Electric Speed Control Unit. The Safety and Service Committee also reported that the bushes and plantings at the corner of Vdilson Mi11s & Worton Park Drive, and also at VV•ilson Mi11s & Aintree Park, are a traffic hazard, and should be removed or improved in order to prov3.de better visibility at these corners. 4.
