Roll Ca11: Ayes= Waltz, Sloan, Eridress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />A discussion was held regarding any a ction to be taken on pending <br />Ordinance No. l~08, entitled: '~An Ordinance Amending Paragraph (a) of Section <br />13 of Ordinance No. 159, as amended by Ordinance No. 2l~8, regarding <br />Minimum Area and Frontage in Class A-1 Districts'r. Dr. Waltz, moved that <br />Ordinance No. l~08 be amended so that any allotment plan already presented <br />to Council shal_1 be governed by the prev3.ous•Ordinance requiring 15,000 <br />square feet and 75 feet frontage for each lot. This motion was seconded by <br />Mr. Sloan. <br />Ro17. Amended <br />Mayop Swanson reported that Rent Control will be automa,tica].ly <br />out on September 30, 1952, unless Council requests otherwise. <br />The gentlemen representing the Garden Acres Development reported <br />that they a.re going to install a storm sewer system. Council felt this was <br />a matter which should be referred to the joint meeting of the Zoning Coam~ittee <br />and the Architectural Board to be held on Thursday evening, September 25th. <br />Mrs® Reed and Mr. Taylor were recognized by Council. It is probable <br />that in due time Beechhill Roads which runs south from Wilson Mills Road, <br />will be developed. Sinee this. road lies. on the west line of the. properties <br />o~wmed by Mrs. Reed and Mr. Taylor, they offered to the ®illage l0 feet of <br />their respective properties in order that, when the time comes for Beechhill <br />Road to be developed, the required width will be available.
