~. k <br />Fire Chief Porter reported that John Bean, Inc. has a lorv pressure <br />Fire Truck which has been a demonstrator, and ordinarily se71s for X169000. <br />By sel]a.ng our present Truck, we could purchase this new equipment for <br />approximately X59000 or X69000.00. The Chief was advised by Mayor Swanson <br />that the funds i"or a new piece of fire equipment were not available, however, <br />the matter was referred to the Finance and Safety Committees for further <br />investigation. <br />Fire. Chief Porter asked that Gerald Kling be put on the Honorary <br />Ro119 as he is now in .Service. Emanuel Fisher has moved out of the Village. <br />The following recommendations were made: <br />William Gera' Assistant Chief <br />Harold Panek, Captain <br />H. Schwentker, Lieutenant <br />C. Leppel.emeier Lieutenant ' <br />There is no office of Assistant. Chief provided for in Ordinance No. <br />231. This Ordinance would have to be amended before the appointments were_ <br />officially made.
