mayor Ley h'as invited the Council and Officials to a.meeting to be held on <br />January 7th, 1953, at 8:00 P, M. at the Highland Heights Vil-'Cage Hall. Several <br />Councilmen gave their personal opinions regarding a merger, but all agreed <br />it would take a great deal of careful study before any such decision could <br />be made. <br />Ordinance No. 125 entitled "An Ordinance to Prova.de for Transfer and <br />Appropriation of F~Znds for Various Purposes During the Year 1952' was <br />introduced by Dra iNaltz, and read to Council. <br />- It was moved by Tdr, Scheuring, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the, <br />'rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions <br />be suspended. <br />Ro11 Call: Ayes - Maltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. <br />Plays - Nona. . <br />Motion Carried <br />It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mre Sloan, that Ordinance <br />No. 1425 be passed as read.. - <br />Roll Call: Ayes - :"Taltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Cass &.Oatess. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />- Ordinance Passed <br />Resolution No. 2.12, entitled 'tA Resolution Accepting the Amounts <br />and Rates Determined by the Budget Cormnission and Authorizing the Necessary <br />Tax Levies and Certifying Them to the County AuditorT~ was introduced by <br />IVIr. Scheuring, that Resolution <br />No. 212 be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - 'Waltz, Sloan, Scheuring, Cass and Oatess. <br />Nays - None. . <br />IUlotion Carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />Police Chief DLYOn inquired about the possibility of renting a <br />garage for the Policy Caro Mr. Skirbunt or Mrsm Van Curen have available <br />space and would charge X5000 per month. <br />Dr..Waltz moved that the matter be referred to the Safety Committee <br />giving them power to act upon their decision.
