It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the rules of <br />law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three. separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll. Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, ScheuringyCass & Oatess <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mr. Scheuring, seconded by N~^. Sloan, that Ordinance <br />No. ~.3t~ be passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz., Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,Cass & Oatees. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Passed <br />The Committee also recommended to Council that the recall system. for <br />the po]i.ce cruiser which was explained at the April meeting, be installed. <br />The cost of this: equipment. installed will run approximately ~]1.~.0.00, and <br />there will be no adda.tional monthly charge, but voa.]1 be included as a part <br />of the Police Radio Service thru University Heights. <br />It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by mss. Cass, that the <br />installation of the recall. system be approved. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - 1+Valtz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,Cass & Oatess <br />Nays - None. <br />~dotion Carried <br />The Committee reported that the Peatrophone which at present is on <br />a six-months trial basis in the Village Hall is not feasible for emergency <br />calls, because the people calling are too excited, aril do not listen to <br />the message before talking. <br />It was suggested that a letter of explanation be dram up, and put <br />in e].l. mail boxes. so the residents of. the Village will understand how the <br />Peatrophone works in case of emergency calls.. Many of the citizens probably <br />do not low there is such equipment in the Hall at the present time. <br />The residents of Seneca Road presented a petition for the installation <br />of a water main in Seneca .Road. <br />It ~~as moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the matter <br />be referred to the, :Village Engineer to check the sufficiency of signa"tares. <br />Roll 'Ca71: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. <br />Nays - None.. <br />Motion Carried <br />z. 1 <br />
