It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by Mr. Sloan, that the rules of law requiring an Ordinance to be read on three. separate occasions be suspended. Roll. Call: Ayes - Waltz, Sloan, Endress, ScheuringyCass & Oatess Nays - None. Motion Carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mr. Scheuring, seconded by N~^. Sloan, that Ordinance No. ~.3t~ be passed as read. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz., Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,Cass & Oatees. Nays - None. Motion Carried Ordinance Passed The Committee also recommended to Council that the recall system. for the po]i.ce cruiser which was explained at the April meeting, be installed. The cost of this: equipment. installed will run approximately ~]1.~.0.00, and there will be no adda.tional monthly charge, but voa.]1 be included as a part of the Police Radio Service thru University Heights. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by mss. Cass, that the installation of the recall. system be approved. Roll Call: Ayes - 1+Valtz, Sloan, Endress, Scheuring,Cass & Oatess Nays - None. ~dotion Carried The Committee reported that the Peatrophone which at present is on a six-months trial basis in the Village Hall is not feasible for emergency calls, because the people calling are too excited, aril do not listen to the message before talking. It was suggested that a letter of explanation be dram up, and put in e].l. mail boxes. so the residents of. the Village will understand how the Peatrophone works in case of emergency calls.. Many of the citizens probably do not low there is such equipment in the Hall at the present time. The residents of Seneca Road presented a petition for the installation of a water main in Seneca .Road. It ~~as moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Dr. Waltz, that the matter be referred to the, :Village Engineer to check the sufficiency of signa"tares.
