<br />D~ayor Swanson read a letter from The East Ohio Gas Company asking authority
<br />to extend the gas main ,in Seneca Road.
<br />It was moved by Mr® Scheuring, seconded by NIr. Endress, that the
<br />request be approved,

<br />The bids on the °106'000.00 bond issue received the previous
<br />evening were reviewed. Another bid was received on July 21, 1953, post-
<br />marked from Cincinnati July 17, which should have. been received by July 20.
<br />This bid was from Fox-Reusch & Company with a rate of !~~ - no premium.
<br />Mrs. Cass introduced Resolution No. 221 entitled °t Resolution
<br />Rejecting all bids received at the Office of the Cleric of the Village of
<br />Mayfield, Ohio, until 8:00 P. M. E.D.S.T. July 20th, 1953, for the Purchase
<br />of Special .Assessment Bonds of Mayfield. Village in the Aggregate Sum of
<br />X106,373®22 dated June 1, 1953,"Pursuant to Advertisement Notice of Sale
<br />of Bonds on June 29, July 6 and July 13, 1953°P which Resolution was read
<br />to Council.
<br />It was moved by Mrs. Cass, seconded by PJlr. Oatess, that the rules
<br />of law requiring a Resolution to be read on three separate occasions be
<br />suspended.

<br />Collection of Special Assessments for 'the Improvement of Wilson Mills and
<br />SOM Center Roads by the Installation Therein of a Wader Main and to Cover
<br />the Remainder of the Property Owners° Cost of Said I provements°1, which
