The matter of the property which the department <br />wishes to purchase from Mr. Grootegoed was reviewed, and discussed thoroughly. <br />The Village tivill be assured of quic~er services in the winter time,.such <br />as snow plowing' cindering, and in the supv~eer the weeds are cut by the <br />department. The zoning committee does not recommend changing the zoning <br />ordinance, but rather suggests waiving the zoning restrictions for that <br />area for the use of the highway department on7.y.. <br />B4t°. The first item was the low pressure pumper and hose for the <br />fire department which would benefit the residents on the water mains by <br />reducing their insurance rates.
