Motion Carried It was moved by Mr. Scheuring, seconded by Dr. Waltz, to proceed with the purchase and installation of the low pressure pumper unit. Roll Call: Ayes - Waltz, Endress, Scheuring, Cass & Oatess. Nays - None, Motion Carried Ids. D9xon's request for an increase in salary was brought before the Council. He has asked for an increase from X5350.00' to ~$I~00.00 per month. It was moved by Dr. Waltz, seconded by Mr. Endress, that this pay increase effective August 1, 1953, be granted. Motion Carried Cdr: Gallimore~ on Monday evening advised not to proceed tilrith the purchase of gravel for Bonnievie•~r Road until after the water main had been ~~aid. He. suggested that. Council push this matter, in order. that the main can be laid before the bad weather. Mr. S_cheur3ng introduced Resolution No. 223 entitled:"A Resolution Declaring the Necessity to Improve Bonnievieoc Road from SOM Center Road in an Easterly Direction to the Westerly Line of Beech Hill Road by the Construction of a Water Main", which Resolution was read to, Council. It was moved by Mr. Endress, seconded by Mrs. Cass, that the rules of law requiring a Resolution to b e read on three separate occasions be suspended. Ro17.
