It was m.oved by Mr. Hopkins' secorlded by Mr. Zorn, that Resolution NooITlRS <br />be approved and passed as read. <br />Ro].1 Call: Ayes - Messrs Ta,ylar,Wedler,Strater9BroVan,Zorn & Hopkins, <br />Nays - None. , <br />Motion carried <br />Resolution Passed <br />After the Clerk advised Council that our finances were low, Mr. Edelman <br />said that tie should have a resolution asking the County for an advance. <br />Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mrs. Brown, then introduced-Resolution lUoe 4?6 <br />entitled: "A Resolution Requesting the County Auditor to Advance the Sum of <br />Five Thousand Dollars to the Village of Mayfield Out of Current Tay, Collections", <br />which resolution was read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mr. Hopkins, seconded by Mr. Strater, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Ga7.1: Ayes - Messrs Taylor9Wedler,Strater,Brown,Zorn & Hppkins. <br />Nays o Adone. <br />Motion carried <br />, . _ -. Rules Suspended <br />It uTas moved by Mr. Taylor, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that Resolution <br />No. 446 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call:. Ayes - Messrs Taylor9Wedl.er,Strater,Brown,Zorzi ?= Hopkins. <br />, Nays - None. Motion carried <br />Resolution passed <br />Mr. Hopkins then spoke of the driveway around the Town Hall and the <br />damage being d.one by the buses turning around and said he would like to ask the <br />Redifer peoPle to pay for some slag to repair this area. Ntre Edelman said <br />that he wouJ.d. write them a letter. Mr. Hopkins then said that the driveways <br />on SOM where the net,r water line was instal].ed were in bad shape and he wauld <br />like to have them talcen care of.. lir. Peterson said that he would take care <br />of the mattero <br />Mayor Fndress then read a letter of resignation from Nlro Taylor,stating <br />th.at as he was moving from the vil.lage, he would have to give up his council <br />position. Mr. Taylor again spoke of the pleasure he obtained from working <br />wit,h Council members. Nlayor Fndress expressed his appreciata.on to 1vIr. Tayl,or <br />-for the excellent job he had done and said that we now had the chore of electing <br />a new member for Council. <br />ivlr. Wedler then nominated Mr. Arthur CTroqtegoed and Mr. Zorn seconded <br />the nomination; Mr. Strater nominated. Mre Fred Falk. It was then moved by <br />ilr. Hopkins, seconded by Mr. Zorn, that the nominations be closeci. <br />6.
