Nays - iVone. ° Motion carried - Voting on the nomination: Mr. Wedler, Mr. Grootegoed; Mr. Strater, Mr. Falk; Mrs. Brown, Mr. Grootegoed; Mr. Zorn, Mr. Grootegoedy NIr. Hopkins, Mr. Grootegoed. , Mr. Grootegoed Elected. Mr. Edelman. a Notary Public,, then admini:stered- the Oath of Office to NTr. Grootegoed, tqho then took his seat at the Council table and was congratulated by everyone. Mayor Enclress then said that we needed a new President of Council9 pro-tem. ' Mro Wedler nominated Mre Hopkins and it was moved by Mr. Zorn,-seconded by NTrs. Brown, that the nominations be closede Voting on the nomination - Ayes - Messrs Grootegoed, Wed].er, Brown and Zorn; Hopkins not voting. Nays - AZr. 5tratera - Mayor Endress then appointed Mr. ZnTedler as Chairman of the Finance Committee. It ivas moved by Mx. Hopkins, seconded by M.r. Zorn, that this appointment be confirmed. Motion carried Mr. Edelman administered the Oath of Office to Mr. Hopkins Mayor Endress then asked that Mro Wedler be removed as a member of the Welfare Committee. It iras moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Hopkins., that this be confirmed. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Grootegoed, Wedler?,Strater,Brown,Zorn & Hopkins. Nays - None. Motion carried Mayor Endress then appointed Mr. Grootegoed as a member of the Welfare Committee. It was moved by Mr. Hopkins' seconded by Mr. Wedler, that this appointment bs 'confirmed.
