Ordinance, it was moved by <br />Mro r+tedler, -seconded by Mr. Zorn, that Pay Ordinance No. 4294 be approved and <br />passed as read, <br />Rol]. Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn,tiedler,Strater,Brocrn,Grootegoed & Hopkins. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed. <br />Mayor Erdress then said that he had asked rTr. Peterson to check on the streets in Worton Park that had been shat last year and reported that one <br />street, North Iloodlane, tifas in bad condition, that the bottom had dropped out <br />of the street. Mayor Endress said that the peop7.e had contributeed $5000 <br />to fi,his improvement aixl something shouJ.d be done to preserve it. Mro Peterson <br />said that he thought aspha7,tic penetration would preserve it. The cos t would <br />be about 75 cents a square yard or $1500. Mr. 14iel.and said that concrete <br />bullcheads should be constructed on the culverts9 that this would prevent the <br />road from being washed out. -- <br />Mr. Zorn suggestect- that the 1nTorton -Parls Association meet wi.th Council <br />and discuss the matter, - <br />Mr. Wielandthen said that people in-this area were dumping things into <br />the creek and block3.ng the water; that, as,this was private property, he had <br />no control over the matter. ,- - <br />. Mr. Hopkins _ then spoke of the sidewalk a7.ong Wi.lson Mills East of SOM <br />and wondered.if something like that could be constructEd on SOM, as it was very <br />dangerous for pedestrians and some who walked to the bus every night were in <br />dangex° of being hit. There was a great deal of discussion on the matter, <br />The Clerk -told of the coatistruction on his street which had been done by - <br />property oianers and the kindness of two of his neighpors tuith equipment.
