Mayor Endress then said -that he would like to appoint Charles Leonard <br />Litman as a fu7.1 time patrolman, to s tart on June ].st., 1959. <br />It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mre Wedler' that this appoir_tment <br />be confizmed. - <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Strater'Braxan,Grootegoed & Hopkins <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />' Appointment Confirmed <br />Mayor Endress then said that this viould ali hinge on whether the physical <br />examn3.nation was o. ka - <br />MY°. Edelman then ment3.oned the SOM Sidewalks and said that the assessments <br />had been aclvertised and Council should naw pass an assessing ordinance. <br />Nrr. Hopkins, seconded by Mr. Zor% then -introduced Ordinance No. 660 <br />entitled; «An Ordi.nance to Levy Special Assessment,s for the Tmprovement of the <br />North Side of Seneca Road, from its Intersectiol witki SOM Center Road to a <br />Point 300 feet Easterly from the Center Line of SOM Center Road, and for the <br />Improve-ment of an Easement Held by the Village of Mayfield, Parallel to and <br />Abutting the East Side of SOM Center Road from Wil.son Mi1ls Road •4pproximately <br />138 -1/2 Feet and for the Improvement of the East Side of SOM Center Road in <br />t.Yie Dedicat,ed Porti.on Thereof to the Northerlg Line of Seneca Road, i.n the <br />Vil3age of Mayfield, Ohio, by the Construction of Sidewalks Therein," which <br />' ordinance was read to Couneil. Tt was moved by Mr. kTedler, secondecl by Mrs. <br />Brown., that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three <br />separate occasions be suspended. <br />Rol1 Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,,Strater,Brovm,Grootegoed and Hopkins. <br />Nays ?
