Mr. <br />TrPedler then read the minutes to Council and said that the Safety and Service <br />Committee and Finance Committee recommended a change in tYie .fees of the <br />Building?Inspectoro This was brought about by the demands made on ttie _ <br />Building Tnspector to return innumerable times to inspect -i%Tork that had 'not <br />passed. Mr. Edelman had prepared an ordinance as recommended by the I'inance <br />Committee and read this ordinance to Council. ? <br />Mr. Wedler'_seconded by Mr. S trater? then introduced Ordinance No. 679 <br />entitled: sfAn Ordinanee to Amend Ordinance No. 475, as amended by Ordi.nances <br />Nos. 493 and RTO. 641, by adding sec-tion 1(a) providing for inspection fees9« <br />which ordinance was read to Council. ' It was moved by Mrs. Brown9 seconded by Mr. GPOO-tegoed, that"the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Ro11.
