Mr. Edelman then reported that he had a contract submitted by the East <br />,Ohio Gas Company for a new rate and- also an ordinance which he proceeded to read <br />to Council. w - <br />tj1r. Hopkins, seconded by Mro 2orn, then introduced Ordinance No. 680 <br />entitled: "A.n Ordinance Regulating and Fixing the Price at Which t11e Eas-t Ohio <br />Gas Company, its successors and assigns, shall b e required to furnish,natural <br />gas to the Village of Mayfield, Ohio9 and its inhabitantst', which ordinance was <br />read to Council. <br />It was moved by Mrso Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that the rules <br />of law requiring an ordinance to be.read on three separate occasions be suspendede <br />Ro11. Motion carried , <br />Ordinance passed <br />Mayor Endress then reported that we had.rubbish difficulties and read a <br />letter from Thrasher and Dinsmore sta-ting that Quigley would be stopped from <br />accenting rubbisli. Mro Edelman said that he had heard nothing about this. <br />Mayor Endress then wondered if N1re Edelman would contact Mr. Dinsmore or if he <br />called to have a meeting zet that Council could attend and see wha-t the storrSrr <br />is on durmping•rubbish. <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from Testa Brothers, Inc. inviting us <br />to consider a contract for services of,an incinerator on Richmond RQad in the <br />Village of G1Vriraillow.,' Ohio. Niayor Endress wondered if we might.not imrite <br />these people here, too., and compare their prices and facilities.
