Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />January 18, 1960 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayf ield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Niayor Endress presiding. <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer, <br />' 'and T1r.'Peterson, Engineer. Absent - None. , <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of December 21, 1959, were then read <br />to Council. Tt was moved by Mrs. Brown, secon'ded by Mr. Grootegoed, that the <br />Minutes of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read, <br />' Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown, Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. ' <br />Motion earried- <br />Minutes approved <br />Mayor Endress, Clerk God'frey and CounciTmen Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, <br />Brown, Grootegoed and Belzer having been given the Oath of Office by Mr. ' <br />Edelman, a Notary Public, at the Town Hall on January 11, 1960, at 8:00 P. M., <br />Mr. Arnold M. Edelman?administered the Oath of Off ice to Mr. Walter Rogers, <br />the Treasurer. ' <br />Mayor Endress then announced that, in order to get things in order, he <br />would appoint Mr. Edelman as Solicitor._ <br />It was moved by rir. Zorn, seconded'by Mro Wedler, that this appointment <br />be confirmed. Ro11 Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried " <br />Appointment Conf irmed <br />I Mr. Zorn, seconded'by Nlr. Wedler, then introduced Ordinance No. 687 entitled: <br />°'An Ordinance Provi:ding for the Employment' of Zegal Counsel 'for "the Village of <br />Mayf ield". It was moved by Mr. Grootegoed; seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the <br />rules of laia requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions be <br />suspendede ' <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett$ Broc,m, Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None <br />Motion carried <br />' Rules Suspended. <br />It was moved by Nirse Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that Ordinance <br />No, 687 be approved and passed-as read. <br />1.
