Roll Call: Ayes - Aiessrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Selzer Nays - None. Motion carried Ordinance passed Mr. Peterson, our Engineer, said that he would bring in his contract for the next meeting. Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mrs. Brown, then introduced Ordinance No. 688 entitled: °'Ari Ordinarice Providing for the Employment of an Engineer f or the Village of Mayf ield", which ordinance was read to Council. It was moved by Nlrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Zorn, that the rules of law requiring an ordinanee 'to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. Nays `- None. , Niotion carried Rules Suspended It was moved by Mrsm Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that Ordinance No. 688 be approved and'passed as read, Rol.l Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. Navs - None. Motion carried Ordinance passed Mayor Endress then asked Eor nominations f or President of Council pro tem. Mrs. Brown nominated.Mre Ldedler, who declined the nomination. P4r. Wedler then nominated Mr. 2orn. As there were no other nominations, Mr. Zorn was declared elected as President of Council Pro-Tem, by unanimous vote, Mr. Edelman, a Notary`Public, then administered the Oath of Off ice to A1r. Zorn. Mayor Endress then appointed Mro Wedler to the Zoning and Planning Board as a Council Member for the neca term and Mr. Walter A. Hoag to fill Mr. Reed's unexpired'term. It was moved by Mrso Broian, seconded by Mr. Grooteooede that ; these two appointments be confirmed. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. Nays - None.
