Mr. Shortle said that he had discussed the matter of a uniform traffic ticket with our Solicitor and presented samples and prices to Council. There was a great deal of discussion of the matter and it was turned over to the Finance Committee for consideration, Mre Grootegoed said that Mr. Porter would like gauges on the pressure hoses in the Fire Department and after discussing the matter with Mr. Porter and personally inspecting the Fire Trucks, the Safety Committee recommended that six of,these gauges be purchased. It waS then moved by.Mr. Grootegoed, seconded by Mr. Zorn, that these gauges be purchased. _ Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Brown and Grootegoed. 13 Nays - None. Motion carried Mr. Grootegoed then reported that the Fire Department wished some Fire Training booklets and the Safety Committee recommended the purchase of 12 of these booklets. It was moved by Mr. Grootegoed, seconded by Mrs. Brown, that the Village purchase 12 booklets f or the Fire Department. Roll Call: Ayes - Niessrs Zorn,Wedler,Brown and `Grootegoed. Nays - None. Motion carried A report from the Finance Committee was tabled until the next meeting, due to a lack of a quorum. Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Zorn, then introduced a resolution that the Village borrow six thousand dollars from the Water Main Trust Fund, if required. Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Brown and Grootegoed. Nays - None. Motion carried A4r. Wedler, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, then introduced Resolution No. 465 entitled: "A Resolution Requesting the County Auditor to Advance the Sum of $8,000.00 to the Village of Mayf ield Out of Current Tax Collections" which resolution was read to Gouncil. .
