Broian., seconded Uy Mr. Zo-n, then introduced Ordinance No. 692, <br />entitled: "An Ordinance Giving the Consent_of the Village of Nla3Tfield to <br />Cuyahoga County for the Improvement of tailson Mills Road by Grading, Draining <br />and Paving" which ordinance was read -to Council, <br />s . <br />Mrs, Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, then introduced Ordinance 1Vo, <br />693 entitled: "An Ordinance Authorizing the Niayor and the Clerk of the Village <br />, <br />of Mayfield to enter into a contract W1t11 the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Cuyahoga CountJ7 f or the Improvement of Wilson Mills Road Between Lander Road <br />and S014 Center Road", which ordinance was read to Council. This ordinance <br />was then placed on its first reading. . <br />Mayor Endress then reported on the Rubbish and Garbage situation. He <br />said that we had a meeting with Quigley representatives who we re asking $4,00 <br />per ton delivered at their incinerator. Since this meeting we have had a letter <br />from the Testa people out in Glenwilloca who report that they a re going ahead <br />with their incinerator in. an old gravel pit. Their charge is $5,00 per ton. <br />Council then had a great d eal of discussion on this matter, as the situation <br />leaves our village out on a limb. <br />_ It was then moved by PSr. Grootegoed, seconded by Mrs. B rown, that we <br />advertise for bids on the disposal of our rubbish and garbage disposal. ' <br />Roll Call: Ayes - PZessrs Lorn,[Jedler,Brown and Grootegoed. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from the Ohio I`lunicipal League, notifying <br />us of a Seminar at Akron on February 25, 1960. <br />The iiinance Commi.i:tee having approved the Pay Ordinance, it was moved by <br />I4r.
