<br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting <br />July 18, 1960 <br />The Council of the Village of Mayfield met in regular meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8:00 P. M., Mayor Endress presidingm <br />Roll Call: Present - Messrs Zorn,Bennett,Grootegoed and Belzer. <br />Absent - Messrs Wedler and Brown. <br />The Minutes of the Regular Meeting of June 20, 1960,-were then read to <br />Council. It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that the Minutes <br />of the Regular Meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Bennett,Grootegoed and Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes approved <br />7The Clerk then reported that he had received five bids for the sale of <br />our paving bonds, the lowest being;the "First Cleveland Corporation" bidding <br />for $31,750.00 in bonds for 4=1/4% with a premium of $261.00. Mr, Edelman <br />then read a tabulation of the bids to Council. It was then moved by Mr.Grootegoed, <br />seconded by Mr. Bennett, that the tabulation of bids be accepted and filed. <br />_ Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn, Bennett, Grootegoed and Belzer.. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mr. Zorn, then introduced Resolution No. 476. <br />entitled: "A Resolution Accepting the Highest Bid f or $31,750.00 of Special <br />Assessme,nt Borids upon the lowest rate of interest paid.by a responsible bidder", <br />which resolution was read to Council. This resolution was then placed on its <br />first r,eading. • _ <br />Mr. Edelman then reminded Council that the Budget Committee had met <br />last week and recommended placing our operating levy on the ballot for renewal. <br />Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, then introduced Reso.lu;t;ion; No. <br />477 entitled: "A, Resolution Authorizing a Two and Seven-Tenths (2.7) Mi11 Zevy-;; <br />for five years for payment of current expenses for the Tax Duplicate Years 1960__:. <br />to 1964, both inclusive," which resolution was read to Council. This resolution; <br />was then placed upon its first reading. . , <br />The Clerk then reported that he had received one bid for installation <br />of Gasoline Pumps and the f urnishing of gasoline to the,Village.. <br />1.
