Report to Mayor from Clerk of Courts <br />October 31, 1960. <br />Cases Completed <br />Cases Pending <br />47 <br />9 <br />From Fines, Bond Forfeitures & Waivers of Appearance $713.00 <br />Sally Herzbrun, <br />Clerk of Mayor's Court <br />Mrs. Brown said that she had nothing to report f rom the Welf are <br />Department, that she had not heard from Mrs. Bardou an3 supposed that she had <br />su£ficient money. Mrs. Brown reported that the Architectural Board-had <br />approved three new homes and one addition. <br />There was hothing to report from the Building Committeee <br />'Mr. Wedler reported that the Zoning and Planning Commission had met <br />on November 14th and considered a request f rom Mr. Richard Van Curen f or a <br />Building Permit for a 50 foot lot on SOM Center Road and recommended that Mro <br />Hoag check the County Records to determine if this property had ever been re- <br />zoned for a 50 foot lot. The 9illage records show the lot in question as a <br />100 f oot lot which had never been subdivided. Mr. Uhlir said that Mr. <br />Kaplan was not taking further action until he had'heard f rom the State of Ohio. <br />- Mr, Wiesberg was present and presented a plan for development of his <br />property on SOM Road. It was suggested that no action be taken-until such <br />time as the Master Plan f or the Village is completed. <br />The Finance Committee having approved the Pay Ordinance, it was moved <br />by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that Pay Ordinance No. 447-P be approved <br />and passed as read. <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />The Finance Committee then asked Mr. Edelman about the Police Pension <br />Fund and what assurance there would be that suff icient funds would always <br />be available for this fund. There was a great deal of discussion about the <br />matter and Mr. Edelman said that money should be included in our budget for <br />this purpose whenever necessary. This was turned over to the Safety Committee <br />and Service Committee for study. <br />Mr. Grootegoed, reporting f or the Safety and Service Committee; then <br />gave a report on his investigation of the Fire Bepartmento This lengthy <br />report was then read to Council. Mayor Endress said that:, as the report had <br />just come into his hands he had not sufficient time to stndy it thoroughly, <br />and he had no recommendations to make at this time. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />4.
