Motion carriedp <br />It was then moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that April lOth <br />be set as a date to hold an open hearing on Ordinance No. 730, as amended. <br />Roll Ca11; Ayes - Messrs Zoen,Wedler,BennetteGrootegoed & Belzer, <br />Nays - Mrs. Brown. <br />Iiotion carried <br />• < < <br />Mr. Stannard then said that as a citizen and an attorney representing <br />tax AV19 that he was making a request that no f urther acicion be taken on <br />Ordinance No. 730 until af ter the General Election in November. <br />Mayor Endress then called for iZeports from the Committees. <br />Mrs. Brocan, repori:ing for the Architecttiral Board, said tfiat the Board <br />had no plans for the house inoved from Willoughby Hills to Nietro Park Drive; <br />that the Board did not act on this; in,fact, she knew nothing about i.t. Mayor <br />Endress said that our ordinance did not indlude a perf ormance bond and it was <br />not nedessary to bring this bef ore the Board. Mr. Zorn said that he had a <br />contract that ariything destroyed or broken-had to'be replaced; Mr. Zorn said <br />that he owned the prbperty. Mr. Dumont said that he'did not hear:about-this <br />at any 'time, r1r. Wieland said that he had'called Mrs: Cass, who sayd to'bring <br />the plans to her. Mra Wieland brought the plans to Mrs. Cass and she-ref used <br />to signe Mayor Endress asked how long bef ore moving was the permit issued, <br />Mr. Wielarid said three days. Mr. Edelman then read an ordinance,on the moving <br />of houses and the liability required f or this purpose. Mr. Strom then asked <br />if we could not notify the property owners on the street when this was about to <br />take place - and went on to speak oi the broken service at this time. Mayor <br />. Endress said that he had,investigated a4d the service was out f or a very short time; <br />that the telephone company said that they would notify people in the f uture. <br />Mre Edelman said that he had ehecked the Architectural Board Ordinance and it <br />did not cover this, so Mr. Wieland was within his rights in granting a permit. <br />Mro Belzer, seconded by i1rs. Browa, then,introduced Ordinance No. 734, <br />entitled; "An Ordinance Requiring a Cash Bond, Liability Insurance, Approva7 <br />of Architectural Board of Review, and Notice to Certain Property Owners, for <br />Moving, or Demolition of,Buildings, Structures or Substantial Parts Thereof, <br />and Providing Penalties and Remedies for Violation Thereof", which Ordinance <br />was read to Councilo <br />It was moved by Mrse Brown, seconded by Mr. Grootegoed, that the <br />rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate occasions <br />be suspendeds, <br />- • ? <br />Roll Call; Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzero <br />Nays - None. <br />.
