<br />of an ordinance in Gates Mills against:, eutting more. than 25%a of the trees

<br />Mayor'Fndress then asked f or the Engineer's report on the investigation
<br />of the water.,problem on the Coffee property. 'Our Engineer said that he had
<br />visited the-.place on February 26, which wa.s the day f ollowing the freak snow
<br />storm. Our Etigineer then dsew a picture of the property on the blackboard
<br />and explained that there were two solutions to the problem. One was the
<br />deepening of tl}e ditch by?:the house so that a uniform slope could be obtainecl
<br />from the rear of the property; the other was by intercepting the water f rom
<br />the east by putting a ditch between the property of the next door neighbor.
<br />Our Engineer recommended the f irst suggestion as the best. Mr. Coffee
<br />objected strenuously to this solution and said that it would not work; that
