Mr. Zorn then reported that the Finance Committee recommended paying Mrsm Sally Herzbrun $250,00 per year f or.her work f or the Service Department and that she should be made a Clerk of the Service Department, effective June 1, 1961. Mrm, Zorn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, then introduced Ordinance No. 737 entitled: @'An Ordinance Creating the Position of Clerk of-the Service I?epartment and Fixing the Tenure, Compensation, and Duties Thereof" which ord=nance was read to Council. ? ? . It was moved by Mrs. Broivn, seconded by Mr. Wedler, that the rules of law requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate'occasions be suspendedo Roll Calli Ayes = Messrs Zorn, Wedler-, Bennett, Brown and Belzer. ' Motion earried Appointment Conf irmed Mr. Wedler, reporting for the Zoning and Planning Commission said that they had met on Monday, May 8, 1961, at which time Mr. Kaplan presented his plans and discussed the deed restrictions on the property ia the Aintree Park Development proposed to be re-zoned f or apartments. Mr. Wedler said that the Commission was going to recommend that Council vote on this project tonight, but had not received the.restrictions as yet; that it had better be postponed until the next Council meeting, but that we should have a second reading on the ordinance. Mrq Edelman said tha-t the restricti.ons are signed by Mr. Young and his wife.,owners of the option on •the property, and should be lef•t with the Clerk. Mr. Young then asked that Mr. Edelman haadle this with The Cleveland - Trust Co., Trustee, owner of the property. Mr. Wedler then reported that he had a letter from Mr. Wiesberg appealing for a variance on the ground of hardshin to the Zoning Board of Appeals. Mr. Wedler-said that they had-also received a letter f rom Mr. Rogers aslcing that he be permitted to sell the back of his property on Beechhill Road. The Committee discussed this proposition, but denied the request. 2.
