l ? Mr. Zora, reporting for the Finance Commfttee,'said that they had found <br />the Pay Ordinance in order and all bills correct. It was moved by Mr. Zorn9 <br />seconded.by Mrso Brown, that Pay Ordinance Noe 454-P be approved and passed <br />as read.' " ` ? <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays -,None. ? • <br />Motion carried <br />Pay Ordinance Passed <br />< < < < . <br />Mr. Edelman then spoke of a letter receive&'f rom the Treasurer, Mr. Rogers, <br />with regard to Village Funds. Mr. Edelman then read this letter, a copy of which <br />had been sent to eaeh Councilman. Mr. Rogers then talked on the matter and said <br />that he did not believe that Village Funds could be put into a,savings-account <br />to bear interest, but upon checking,found this not to be true as to inactive f unds <br />not required f or use for six months. Mr. Edelman said this referred, of course, <br />to our dormant or inactive funds and that he had checked with the Central <br />Natiorial and had received'a contract from them f or the-same thing that Mr. Rogers <br />referred to. <br />Mr. Wedler, seconded by Mrs. Brown, then introduced Resolution No. 489 <br />en-Eitled; "A Resolution Appr6ving a Contract for Deposit of Inactive Funds in <br />Central National Bank of Cleveland°", which resolution was read to Councilp <br />It was moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mr. Belzer, that the rules of <br />law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />• ? - - <br />Roll Call: Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,BrowneGrootegoed & Belzere <br />Nays - None. <br />< < < < Motion earried <br />Rules Suspended <br />It was moved by Mrs. Brown, seconded by Mro Belzer, that Resolution No. <br />489 be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,BroGm,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None. - <br />biotion carried <br />- Resolution Passed <br />. . <br />Mre'Zorn-then reported that-ve had inspected the streets in the Caputo. <br />Development on June 1, and £ound a lot of little gripes and minor things that <br />have to be corrected and read a list o£ these things to Council; that D2ro <br />Caputo had come down to his house and said that he was working on this; that <br />he had a meeting wi`?h our Engineer on the same afternoon and he agreed with <br />this list. Mr. Peterson said that he had a field crew inspecting each manhole <br />and that all manholes had been checked.' Mr._Caputo said tliat he had called <br />f or two inspeetions on these streets, Mr. Wieland reported that there was <br />some dirt around the berm near Hemingway that would have to be taken care of. <br />Mr. Peterson said that, with the speed the Caputos worked and not to cause <br />additional.expense, he would recommend that these streets be accepted.
