Belzer then remarked that the County refused to pay for their share of
this main and made the remark that the Village should pay f or this f rontage. -
Mr; Be3zer said'the County was hooked in to a line that ran'down to,Beech•Hill
from Bonnieview and that he did not have to go up there but did to satisfy
someone. Mr.,Edelman said that if the City supplied them with water through
this hook-up9 there was nothing we-could do; that if the Village had put in
thi.s main, we could assess the County"s properties, but if put in by a private
individual, there was nothing that could be done. Mr. Edelman was then asked
to- go over the situation and,see if hia could come up taith sometfiing.
Mre Wedler, reporting f or the Zoning and Planning Commission, said that
they had sat as a Board of AppeaZs to consider Mr. Wiesberg•s request f or re-
zone and had quite a go around; that Mr. Wiesberg was to submi.t new plans which
would be considered at their July lOtlz, 1961, meetinge Mro Wedler then reported
that the Zoning and Planning Board had met on the same night and considered a
request to re-zone land on SOM Center Road for a Service Garageo As this did
not tie inwith anything, it was suggested that the property.owners submit a
request in writing £or re-zoning'-this property. Mr. Edelman, who had received
a letter f rom Mr.•Reich on this matter, read the letter to Council. There .
was a,great deal of discussion on the matter in Council as Mr. Reich-asked
that the Ietter be considered an application to re-zone the rear of a lot
#736 on SOri Center from a Class U1 to a Class U5-usee P4r. Edelman said that the Planning & Zoning Commission could consider the spliti:ing of the lot, but
the property would have to be re-zoned from U1 to U4 and then to U5, and, as
Mrs. Brown and Nire Grootegoed thought that any action would be stepping over,
the heads of the Zoning and Planning Commission, this matter was referred to
the Commission f or recommendations.

7
L
2.
