Zorn, Wedler, Bennett, Brown and Grootegoed. <br />Nays - None. . <br />Motion carried, <br />Mr< Grootegoed9 reporting for the Safety and Serviee Committee, said <br />that,they had met on July 3 and considered the request of the police department <br />f or a hook-up via radio with Wickliffe, Willoughby Hills and Willoughby and re- <br />commended the purchase of four new revoleers for a total of $222.24, allowing <br />$60.00 for three old revolvers. The Service Director- had asked for two-way <br />radio in the service truck, but this request was denied. Mr. Porter asked for <br />permission to use the Village Mimeograph Machine and was told the Village sten- <br />ographer would eooperate in tu=ning out this work. Discussion was also had on <br />the erection of signs and stop light electrically controlled, warning o£ approach- <br />ing fire equipment. These reqnests were tabled. Mr. Porter also asked that the <br />driveway in front of the Fire Station be black-topped. Estimates were asked for <br />this matter. Mra Porter also asked for funds to attend a-Fire School and the <br />Safety Committee recommended that $130.00 be allowed for this purpose. <br />.3.
