Minutes of the Regular Meeting ? <br />November 209 1961 <br />The, Council of the Village o£ Mayf ield met in regular .meeting at the <br />Town Hall at 8t00 P. M,, Mayor Endress presidingo , <br />Roll Ca11:,Present.- Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed and <br />Belzer; also Mr. Peterson, Engineer. <br />° Absent - None. _ <br />• The Minutes of, the Regular Meeting of October 16, 1961,, were then read <br />to Council. It was moved by Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mrs._Brown, that the Minutes <br />of the regular meeting be approved and passed as read. <br />Roll Calls Ayes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />. Nays - None. ? _ . <br />Motion carried <br />Minutes Approved. <br />, < < < < <br />Mayor Endress then reported that he had written the Illumihating Company <br />for a tree plan £or our Village, saying that a representative of the Company <br />was present and asked that this plan be presented to Council, rir. Scanlon <br />then made this presentation to the Maqor and Council and was photographed <br />during the presentation. Mr. Scanlon said that this was something that should <br />not gather dust, as it was a valuable thing f or the 9illage. Mr`s. Brown then <br />asked if this tree planting was something that would be done by the Illuminating <br />Company and Mr. Scanlon said no, that it was up to the home owners. Mayor <br />Endress then explained that1this was a survey of the Village, with the proper <br />trees to be planted according to house levels$ existing conditions and profiles, <br />with especi.al care to future growth and beautiy of our streets. , <br />Mayor Endress then read a letter from Mro Dollard, stating that although <br />Ridgebury Boulevard was included in our consent ordinance, it could not be <br />taken care of,with ?heir limited f unds. _ <br />Mayor Endress thep read a letter from Mr. Peterson, li`sting.defects <br />on Fastgate and Meadowood Roads within our Village. Mre Peterson listed eight <br />de£ects on Eastgate and six on Meadowood Roado <br />_ Mr. Zorn, reporting f or the Committee, appointed to go over ths Street <br />Lighting situation within the Village, said that his committee had:gotten <br />together with Mr. Spaling of the Illuminating Company and,recommended that a` <br />new light be installed on Wilson Mills Road opposite the center line of Joyce <br />Road and that the lamp plassif ication be changed from.isolated to long-spaced <br />for a-light at Lander and Wilson Mills and at the intersection oF Worton Park <br />Drive and Wilson Mills Road. <br />1.
