Mr. Zorn, seconded by Mr. Belzer, then introduced a Resolution authorizing <br />the Illuminating Company to install one 10,000 lumen long-spaced, incandescent <br />lamp on a new pole to be set by?the CET Company on Wilson Mi11s Raad opposite <br />the center line of Joyce Road and to change the lamp classif ication from <br />isolated to long-spaced f or the lamp located on Pole 337305 at the intersection <br />of Lander Road and Wilson Mills Road and also the lamp located on Pole No. <br />309451 at the intersection of Worton Pask Drive and Wilson Mills Road, which <br />resolution was read to Couneile • t. - _ <br />It was moved by M2. Grootegoed,,seconded by Mr. Wedler,:that the rules <br />of law requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasians be <br />suspended. - <br />Roll Call:? Aqes ? Motion carried <br />- Resolution Passed <br />Mr. Zorn, reporting f or the Committee, appointed-to check into flue <br />sizes in new homes, said that they had had a meeting with the Arehitectural <br />Board and that Mrs. Cass was of the opinion that a 12 x 12 inch flue was. <br />adequate, provided everything was in the right place; and that this was the <br />size.they were asking for. Mrso Brown said that Mr0 Dumont should be consulted. <br />Mro Zorn then reported that his committee recommended that cse have a 12 x 12 <br />inch flue. Mr. Edelman said that this was the requirement of the Regional <br />Code and that we had adopted this code as part of our ordinance and that was <br />all that was necessarya Mr. Edelman then read a letter from Kenwood Builders, Inc.,enclosing a. <br />check for $737.55, an amount withheld from the road contractor f or paving <br />Oakwood and Thornapple Drive of-Kenwood Subdivision No. 2-B and asking that <br />the plat of 2-B be signed by tlie Clerk. There was some discussion as to who <br />was to maintain the sanitary sewers in this subdivisiono <br />Mr. Belzer, seconded by Mry Grootegoed, then introduced,Resolution Noo <br />518, entitledm "A Resolutiora Approving £or Record the Final Plan of Kenwood <br />Gardens Subdivision No. 2 B", which Resolution was read to Council.- <br />It was moved by Mre Wedler, seconded by Mra Zorn, that the rules of law <br />requiring a resolution to be read on three separate occasions be suspended. <br />Roll Call: Aqes - Messrs Zorn,Wedler,Bennett,Brown,Grootegoed & Belzer. <br />Nays - None.
